Volunteer or
Work with us

We would love you to join the Tribe!

Thank you for expressing an interest in joining the Tribe as a volunteer or Facilitator!

We have a proven track record at creating fantastic opportunities from initial engagement as a participant within one of our groups, or an audience member at one of our shows.

As a Facilitator, we are always applying for grants and funding to support our projects and workshops and are keen to hear from you if you have any ideas or suggestions for projects that you have experience with and would like to bring to the Tribe table, we would love to hear from you. Similarly if you have a specific skill, preferably with a recognised teaching or training qualification, and would like to discuss the opportunity to join the Facilitator team to co-create something magical!

If you've been involved with one of our projects as a participant and have been inspired to do more, we have some great volunteering opportunities. We have seen so many amazing individuals build their skills and confidence to become a Peer Mentor, attending future sessions to share some knowledge and support to new participants and helping our facilitators to engage people in a safe and supportive way.

You may decide that you'd like to do a little more on occasions, volunteering for our community outreach or fundraising projects, or even taking part in one of our events!

We often find that people look to develop further to attend sessions as a session volunteer or lead volunteer, depending on suitability, safeguarding, experience, and our internal training structure.

How do I apply?

We are passionate about our Tribe, and prioritise looking after our people. In order to do this, we take our volunteer and facilitator application procedure, induction, wellbeing plan and training seriously.

We want you to have a great experience with us and it's important to keep you safe physically, mentally and emotionally.

If you would like to get involved in any of our activities, from marshalling, or litter picking at events, flyering, bag packing or other fundraising activities, or during our online or physical project sessions, you'll need to read our Volunteer and Facilitator Handbook thoroughly and confirm that you have read and understood our Code of Conduct as well as giving us your consent to complete a DBS check on your behalf. As part of your experience with us, your induction will also include Safeguarding Level 1 training, First Aid for Mental Health Level 1 Training, and Resilience & Wellbeing support.

If you'd like to go ahead and submit a volunteer application you will need to:

* Thoroughly read the handbook and code of conduct below (make sure you scroll down to read it!)

Once we have received this, we will be in touch to welcome you aboard, talk you though the next steps, you will be added to our Microsoft Teams Channel so we can connect with you in our Tribe backstage area and get the ball rolling with your DBS and induction training!
